FTB Projekt - Boccia no parque

Throwing balls toward a target is the oldest game known to mankind. As early as 5000 B.C. the Egyptians played a form of bocce with polished rocks. Graphic representations of figures tossing a ball or polished stone have been recorded as early as 5200 B.C. While bocce today looks quite different from its early predecessors, the unbroken thread of bocce’s lineage is the consistently common objective of trying to come as close to a fixed target as possible. From this early objective, the basic rules of bocce were born. From Egypt the game made its way to Greece around 800 B.C. The Romans learned the game from the Greeks, then introduced it throughout the empire. The Roman influence in bocce is preserved in the game’s name; bocce derives from the Vulgate Latin bottia, meaning boss.

FTB Projekt - Cyclist in Copenhagen

Cycling in Copenhagen is, as with most cycling in Denmark, an important means of transportation and a dominating feature of the cityscape, often noticed by visitors. The city offers a variety of favourable cycling conditions; dense urban proximities, short distances and flat terrain; along with an extensive and well-designed system of cycle tracks. This has earned it a reputation as one of the most, possibly the most, bicycle-friendly city in the world.

FTB Projekt - Cigana

Everything is relative , everything has two sides, poles, opinions . Every coin has a face and a crown .
As a photographer I feel obliged to wear my lenses to denounce. I feel very sad when I meet people in a state of difficulty and social integration. I feel privileged to have a family, a base . I feel embarrassed by these people that did not have the same opportunity as me.
I wonder why. With no doubt I note a flawed, selfish and self-serving system, articulated by the large institutions, politicians and similar. The largest social problem in my view, is the limitation of education and no quality culture at all.
In the case of photography, ( a gypsy begging on the streets of Oslo ) know it is not an injustice .
Starting from the idea that giving is not social work. They say it would not help the Rome integration, education and professionalization . They say they do not accept . They like to live that way, a lifestyle .
I do not know their reality, nor their interests . But it is easy to realize that from the gypsies, and from the integrated society, this is a social problem in different perspectives .

FTB Projekt - Anderson and his daughter.

I grew up in Villa Maria. A simple neighborhood of Lagoa Santa. A town 50 km from the capital of Minas Gerais. Anderson is one of the few childhood friends who are not addicted to crack. He managed to establish, form a family and lead the life in a dignified manner. Here with her sweet daughter on the streets of Vila Maria.

Ftb Project.

Resuming the old techniques, public here and on the blog, the Ftb project.

Canon Ftb is a great analog 35mm camera from the seventies. Much loved by press photographers, for its robustness and the quality of its completely mechanical system.
I recently had the good fortune and opportunity to find a Ftb camera in a fair use. The seller was an elderly gentleman, he owned the camera. Right there at the fair, an investigative climate by my curiosity to know him better merged with euphoria by the Lord to tell me some interesting photo stories. It was an interesting day. I was very happy to hear his experiences.
When closing business, he told me. Take care of her, is part of a long history. Good photos.
I will share with you some stories recorded with this camera. I intend to publish one to three pictures per week. Hope you enjoy! I will be very grateful if you could help me share.
