This photo of the great photographer Rene Burri was taken in Brasilia. The city was still in the building process.
The first impression that I'm seeing this photograpy, is the migratory process, where people from all over the country and especially the Northeast venture towards Brasilia to seek solutions, dignity and work.
The composition in depth, with paradoxical aspects, formed by the couple, the tree and the building of the headquarters of the federal government is a greatness of spirit unique. Congratulations to Rene!
The city is located along the Brazilian Highlands on the country's Central-West region. It was founded on April 21, 1960, to serve as the new national capital.
